Let’s face it: you can’t name your company “Pixel & Tonic” and not have a drink named after it.

So we’ve been hard at work figuring out just what a Pixel & Tonic is made of. It’s been a true labor of love, and today, we’re excited to share our findings with you!

It’s been three months since Pixel & Tonic opened its doors. So much has happened since then (even beyond reaching 100% EE2-readiness), we felt it was time to show off some of what we’ve been up to.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce the release of Matrix 2 for ExpressionEngine 1 and 2.

Matrix 2 is a complete rewrite of what was formerly called FF Matrix. We’ve added some great new features along the way:

I don’t get to build EE sites that often anymore, but when I do, interesting things are bound to happen. Now that Pixel & Tonic has (finally) launched, I figured I’d take the opportunity to talk a bit about the process behind it, and show off some of the cooler parts at work.
